AN AI COMPANY, WORKING ONLY IN EDUCATION

We build one thing:software for schools.

A school system should help, not just record.

Almost every school system ever sold is a filing cabinet with a login. It stores what already happened and asks the school to do the thinking. We think the whole system should eventually assist — the teacher in the classroom, the leader making the call, and the child whose year it actually is.

01Who we are

We work only in education, and we bet on AI.

One industry. One idea about where it is going.

We are a small company that does exactly one thing: build software for schools. Not a general platform with an education skin on it, and not an agency that takes school work when it comes in. Everything below follows from that narrowness.

  • 01

We work solely in education technology

Every person here spends their week on schools — on registers, report cards, fee ledgers, timetables and the particular chaos of admissions season. We turn down work outside it. A vendor who serves five industries learns none of them at the depth a school needs, and schools are the ones who pay for that.

  • 02

    We are an AI-focused company

Not AI as a badge on a settings page. It is the second thing on our homepage because it is the second thing we build: a school you can ask a question of in plain language, answers drawn from the school's own record with the working shown, and a connection to the assistants your leadership already uses. Reporting that used to be a project should be a sentence.

  • 03

We take new technology seriously, early

Passwordless sign-in so a parent has no password to lose. UWB tags that locate a child rather than merely counting one. Long-range readers that clear a gate without a queue. We adopt these when they make a school's morning measurably better — and we say plainly which are running and which are on the way.

  • 04

We build for the long calendar

Schools do not re-platform casually; a system chosen this year is still being lived with in five. So we make decisions on that horizon — durable data, documented processes, and changes that arrive on the school's calendar rather than ours.

02Mission

What we are trying to do.

To take the administrative weight off a school so completely that its people can spend their attention on teaching, deciding and learning — and to keep going until the system is not just holding the school's record, but actively helping the three people who depend on it.

Every hour a teacher spends copying marks between a register, a spreadsheet and a report card is an hour not spent on a child who needed it. That is the arithmetic the whole product exists to change.

03Who it is for

Every change is checked against three people.

Three people, one system.

Most school software is built for the office and inflicted on everyone else. We build for three people at once, and a change is only finished when it has been checked against all three.

The teacher

TODAY

Today, the register, the marks and the parent message live in three places, and the teacher is the integration between them.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING TOWARD

We are building toward a system that has the register already open at the right period, that carries a mark from entry to report card without being asked twice, and that tells a teacher which child has quietly slipped — before the term ends and it becomes a conversation with a parent.

The decision maker

TODAY

Today, a head of school waits days for a number that the system already holds, then makes the call on instinct because the term has moved on.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING TOWARD

We are building toward a system that answers in the language the question was asked in, shows the working, and flags the thing nobody thought to ask about — so leadership is spent on judgement rather than on assembling the evidence.

The child

TODAY

Today, a student is the subject of the record and almost never the beneficiary of it.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING TOWARD

We are building toward a system that gives a child a clear picture of where they stand and what to do next, and that gets the adults around them the signal early enough to matter. The record exists to help the person it is about.

04Vision

The system is moving from recording to assisting.

From a record of the past to a partner in the day.

The path is not a list of features. It is a change in what the system is for, and it runs in a straight line from the work we are doing now.

  1. BUILT

    Today

    One record

Attendance, academics, fees, timetables and communication stop being separate systems and become one record per student, teacher and parent. This is the part that is built.

  2. BUILDING NOW

    Now

    One question

Anyone with the right role can ask the school a question in plain language and get an answer drawn from that record, with its sources shown. Reporting stops being a project.

  3. NEXT

    Next

    The system notices first

The school is told what changed before it is asked: the section whose attendance is drifting, the child whose marks fell the week their attendance did, the fee cohort about to go overdue.

  4. WHERE IT GOES

    Ahead

It assists the person, not the office

The teacher, the head and the student each get help shaped for what they are actually trying to do — with the school's own data, inside the school's own walls, under the school's own rules.

05The ecosystem

A connected school pulls ahead of a filing school.

We believe schools running on one connected ecosystem end up meaningfully ahead of schools running five disconnected tools — and not because of any single feature. It is compounding, and it comes from four things that only hold when everything shares one record.

  • 01

    Nothing is entered twice

A child's name, section, guardian and fee status exist once. Every hour not spent reconciling two lists is an hour returned to the school, every week, for years.

  • 02

    The data is worth asking

Attendance means little on its own. Attendance next to marks, next to conduct, next to the fee ledger, over three years, is a picture. Disconnected tools can never produce that picture, no matter how good each one is.

  • 03

The signal arrives while it still matters

A pattern found in an end-of-year export is history. The same pattern found in week five is a decision. Connection is what moves a finding from the first to the second.

  • 04

It gets better without you doing anything

Every improvement lands across the whole school at once, on one record, for everybody — instead of being negotiated separately with five vendors who do not talk to each other.

This is the argument, stated plainly rather than dressed up as a statistic. Ask us to walk you through a school that has been on it for three years and you can judge it yourself.

06What we will not do

Four things we will not do.

The commitments that make the rest believable.

A mission is only worth reading if it also says what it rules out. These are the ones we hold to.

  • The school's data stays the school's

It is never sold, never brokered, and never used to train anything outside your walls.

  • A child is not a score

We will build things that help an adult notice a child earlier. We will not build a system that ranks children for its own sake.

  • The system explains itself

Anything the system concludes shows what it was drawn from. A school should never have to take our word for a number.

  • Nothing important changes without warning

Schools run on rhythm. Improvements arrive on the school's calendar, not on ours.

Judge it against your own school.

The useful version of this conversation is not a slide about vision — it is your registers, your report cards and your questions, in front of the system.
